Short Story Slam Week 19

Refreshed, I thought
I need a prayer, what's left
in the backyard are hope,
we do have a choice, a good one.
.
I was just thinking that
we need to slow down, look back,
pick up pieces left behind, and
place them together to form a picture,
.
The moon is keeping an eye on earth,
Trees are her soul mates,
Since they validate her importance
via their shadows in silent wind.
.
Two lovely birds hang close to this big old tree,
Nobody knows what they are talking about,
In this icy cold winter evening,
It is delightful to see such a miracle:
Love bonds all.
