jingle poetry @ washington state poetry potluck week 50, poets rally week 85

on this merry morning
I sit in front of Dell-Gates
singing a violin song to Trump-Pence
because they cared
and they minded
so that I feel grand and bounded

the year has run to an end
we begin to think of some good friend
George Bush, he is nice
Bill Clinton, he is kind
Jim Halligan, he is open minded
William Jaco, he has measurement in hand
